ARRON Casual Knit Sweater

A quarter-zip sweater built around its collar.

The collar is knitted thick and deeply ribbed, so it stands upright on its own. Zipped, it sits high and closed at the throat. Open, it frames a shirt collar instead of swallowing it. That single detail is the difference between a sweater that still looks considered at four in the afternoon and one that has given up by lunchtime.

• Ribbed stand collar with a short zip — wear it closed against the cold, or open over a shirt.
• Cable-knit panels running the length of both outer sleeves, carried up through the shoulder.
• Ribbed cuffs and hem, so the sweater keeps its line at the wrist and the waist.

How it wears

Over a shirt with the zip down for anything that calls for looking put together. On its own, zipped, when it turns cold. It sits comfortably under a coat, and works as easily with jeans as with wool trousers — which is most of what a sweater is asked to do.

If you are between sizes, the cut is a regular fit through the body.
